Distributor & Retailer Partner Portal

Give trading partners a clearer way to work with you.

THE BUSINESS CONTEXT

The partner portal is a planned part of Ticktick.ai’s distribution model. It gives the network an operational interface around the relationship with your company. The useful scope depends on the partner levels you use, the commercial information they need and the modules available for rollout.

HOW THE WORK CONNECTS

Understand the scope.

01 /

Make the relevant catalogue and terms accessible

The model includes catalogue, applicable prices, stock and schemes. Partner visibility should reflect the account’s role and agreed commercial configuration. Confirm the exact information exposed in the current portal implementation.

02 /

Connect the order with fulfilment

Partners are intended to place orders and follow invoices, dispatch and delivery. Clear order status helps distinguish a request from an accepted or dispatched order, and gives the company a consistent record to respond to.

03 /

Bring account questions and exceptions into the process

The roadmap includes outstanding balances, payment, returns and complaints. These activities should connect to the underlying invoice, product or delivery so the company can investigate and respond with the right context.

A practical partner example

A stockist wants to replenish a product line and understand the status of an earlier order. The proposed portal gives them the relevant commercial and fulfilment context in one place. It does not remove your approval or credit rules, and it should not be treated as a promise of real-time third-party stock without reliable partner data.

Prepare for a partner pilot

Select a small group of partners, confirm their user roles and commercial terms, and decide who handles questions. Test product visibility, price assignment, order acceptance and exception handling from the partner’s perspective before broad rollout.

Is the portal the same as a retailer mobile app?

No. A web portal and a mobile application are separate interfaces. Both appear in the product model, but release status, supported devices and included functions need confirmation.

Can partners see other partners’ information?

Access must be defined and verified for the implementation. Ask for a role-based demonstration using representative partner accounts and the information boundaries you require.

A connected workflow

Partner access → Catalogue & pricing → Order request → Company processing → Delivery status → Return or follow-up
